THE STORY
Set in 1990s Vietnam, Còn Phòng Cho Thuê | Vacancy is a first-person psychological horror game that blends job simulation, investigation, and survival.
After being released from prison, Minh finds a job at a garment factory and moves into an old boarding house, hoping to start his life over. His first few days pass uneventfully, until Quỳnh, a neighbor he has recently befriended, suddenly disappears without a word.
Suspecting something is wrong, Minh uses a sewing needle to pick the lock of Quỳnh's room. What he discovers inside makes her disappearance even more suspicious, revealing clues that lead to a series of unsettling secrets hidden behind closed doors.
As his investigation deepens, Minh begins to realize that this seemingly ordinary boarding house is far from what it appears to be. The neighbors, the locked rooms, and even seemingly unrelated incidents all seem to be concealing a terrifying truth.
Can Minh uncover what is really happening inside the boarding house, or will he become the next person to disappear without a trace?

WORK BY DAY. INVESTIGATE BY NIGHT.
During the day, you must work at a garment factory, performing cutting and sewing tasks while meeting daily production quotas to maintain the routine of an ordinary factory worker.
But when night falls, the boarding house becomes an entirely different place.
Armed with a special sewing needle, you can secretly pick locks, sneak into other tenants' rooms, and search for hidden clues. Each room holds its own stories, evidence, and secrets, challenging you to carefully observe your surroundings and piece together seemingly unrelated details to gradually uncover the truth.
But remember: You're not the only one awake in the boarding house.
EVERY ACTION HAS CONSEQUENCES.
Not every clue should be taken. Not every door should be opened. And not every neighbor can be trusted.
You must choose the right moments to act, avoid drawing attention, and leave no trace of your intrusions. One careless decision could alert those hiding the secrets that you already know too much.
Knowing when to stop can be just as important as uncovering the truth.
SURVIVE NIGHT AFTER NIGHT.
Between investigations, you must continue your daily routine: eating, drinking, working, and attending to your basic needs, all while confronting increasingly unsettling occurrences throughout the boarding house.
Not every danger is immediately visible. Strange noises behind the walls, footsteps echoing through the hallways, or a neighbor behaving suspiciously could all be warning signs.
You must survive each passing night, gather enough information, and prepare yourself for whatever lies ahead.
